She was predeceased by: her husband William H. "Billy" Jenkins; her parents, Benjamin H. Bethea and Josephine Bethea; and her siblings, Jeffrey Bethea, Helen Flippo, James "Jim" Bethea and Martha Courtright.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Jenkins and John Jenkins; her sisters, Mary Morrison and Peggy Thornton (Kenny); and her grandchildren, Alex Jones, Lauren Stiltner (Reid) and Kyle Jones.
In lieu of flowers, her family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
