With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Mozingo of Dunnsville, Virginia, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John William Mozingo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhoda Mozingo and Mary Louise Mozingo; and his siblings, Rhoda Mozingo, Jr., Junior Mozingo and Mary Beth Mozingo.
He is survived by: his close friend Charlotte Hayes of Dunnsville; his children, John Elton Mozingo (Marissa) of Coles Point, Mary Ann Davis of Oak Grove and Mary Helen Mozingo of Richmond; and his siblings, Betty Ann Mayes (Rick) and Harold Mozingo (Deanna). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (3889 Richmond Hwy, Tappahannock, VA 22560).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to Faith Baptist Church in Tappahannock or Crossroad Christian School in Tappahannock.
