She was predeceased by: her son Bruce Simmons; and her stepson Michael J. Hazard, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Michael "Hap" Hazard; her son Brett Simmons of Stafford; her stepson Rocky Padgett of Fredericksburg; her sister Joyce Walsh (Al); her granddaughters, Leah and Anna Lockwood; and her stepgrandchildren, Cody Hazard, Michaelene Wright, Douglas, Nicole, Edward Sophia and Megan Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
