Carolyn Diane Brown Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Diane Brown of Dunnsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carolyn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She is survived by: her daughter Alelia Hardy of Hague; her grandchildren, Danielle Broaddus, Jaquan Hardy and Jamion Hardy; and her brother James E. Pitts of Texas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Washington Funeral Home (1404 Tappahannock Blvd, Tappahannock, VA 22560). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Good Hope Baptist Church (342 Johnville Rd, Dunnsville, VA 22454). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the same location.
