He was predeceased by: his stepgrandfather Earnest Greear; his aunt Dorothy Greear; his uncles, Lester Frazier and Clinton Allen Frazier; his parents, Richard Jessee (Tina, Gate City) and Patty Greear (Mike, Dungannon); his grandparents, Elmer Grady, Frances Jessee, Harold, Norma Frazier and Duffield; his stepgrandparents, Lillian Greear, Bernice Miller and Brenda Falin; his siblings, Tina French (Chad, Wise), Tyler Jessee, Duffield Greear and Steve Greear; his aunts and uncles, Cecil Jessee of Kingsport, Rick Frazier (Jeanie, Duffield, Ernest), Tony Greear (Linda, Coeburn), Barbara Dalton and Patricia Frazier; his nieces, Autumn Holbrook and Meera Jessee; and his nephew Aiden French.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Cancer Society in Michael's honor.
