He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McConnell and Bonnie Mary Brickey (Fields); and his siblings, Billie Taylor, Joy Kinkead and Ted Brickey.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Brickey (Peters); his son Daniel Sam Brickey, Jr. (Angela); his granddaughters, Candace Brickey of Dungannon, VA and Samantha Brickey Jones (James); his great grandchildren, Aleara Gabrielle Jones and Keegan Jace Jones; his brother Bob Brickey of Kingsport, TN; and his sister-in-law Sue C. Peters.
The family requests that those who attend the service to please wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
