He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Earl and Nellie Mae Foster Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lafoon Townsend; his children, Wilson Earl Townsend, Jr. (Susan), Shannon Sheree Painter, Wesley Cheyenne Townsend (Wanda), Brandy Townsend Lewis (Vince) and Steven Justin Bradley; his grandchildren, Triston Williamson, Kasey Walker (Ashton Smith), Bailey Townsend (Danielle), Wesley Walker, II (Kristen), Courtney Townsend (Rusty Gordon), Taylor Walker (Hunter Wells), Tanner Campbell, Destiney Hensley (Ryan), Katie Lewis, Seth Townsend, Hayden Puryear, Mason Campbell, Mallory Townsend and Rebecca Lewis; his great grandchildren, Autumn Stoneburger, Kinsley Walker, Noah Townsend, Maverick Walker and Beau Hensley; and his siblings, June Townsend, Judy Rainey and Paul Townsend.
