She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Branch Matthews and Leonard Matthews. She is survived by: her son Horace Matthews of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Angel, Jordan Matthews and Pharaoh Matthews of Chase City, VA; her close friend Melissa Neville; her daughter Jalissa; and her cousins, Barbara Wooten of Hampton, VA, Michael Branch of Hampton, VA, Yolanda Branch of Hampton, VA, Lloyd Wooten, Jr. of Hampton, VA, Lionel Wooten of Hampton, VA and LaJanese Wooten of Hampton, VA. She is also survived by numerous other cousins family and friends.
