Fran DuRocher D. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fran DuRocher D. of Dumfries, Virginia, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Siggi Moser; and her parents, Armand D and Teresa L. DuRocher (James Leverone). She is survived by: her sister Joan DuRocher (John Salisbury); her niece Liz Brouillard; her great-nephew Matt Behrle; her nephew Dave Brouillard (Jenn); her great-nephews, Jon and Brayden Brouillard; her cousin Robby Janelle; her sister-in-law Friedlinde Rieker (Peter Herzinger) of Weinsberg; her niece Martina Rieker; her nephew Dr. Joe Rieker of Göttingen; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Florian, Tobi, Sebastian Rieker, LisiRieker and Bianca Gill.
"Becoming a Democrat was really pretty easy."A self-described "news junky,'' she started a current affairs discussion group for her Four Seasons community on Zoom during COVID and continued to host the sessions until recently.
