He is survived by: his sons, James (Patricia Goad) and Scott Goad; his brother Julian; his sister-in-law Dorothy Goad; his daughter-in-law Mary Jane Goad; his grandchildren, Laura Goad (Allen), Erika Goad, Isaiah Goad and Jacob Goad; his great grandchildren, Ethanael Davis and Peyton Goad; his niece Collen Goad; and his nephew David Largen.
The family request that anyone attending the services for Mr. Goad wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers or food the family asks that donations be made to the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
