She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph and Sarah Clark Saurage; and her husband James David Shoptaugh. She is survived by: her children, A. T. (Christy Wiggins), Terry Chestnut of Louisiana and Joan (Andy Ahlborn); and her stepchildren, Catherine Shoptaugh Landry, J. David Shoptaugh, John E. Shoptaugh and Mark Shoptaugh. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
