It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Mae Largen of Dugspur, Virginia, born in Galax, Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fred and Mary Hall Spivey; and her siblings, Iva Lee Spivey Melton, Alice Opal Spivey Edwards, Edith Geraldine Spivey Bullion, David J. Spivey, Arthur A. Spivey and Guy B. Spivey.
She is survived by: her husband Depree; and her son Monty. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their spouses, and children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ila's honor to Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 46 Hunters Ridge Road, Dugspur, VA 24325.
