She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Delmon Lee and Moore Nester; her son James Delmon "J. D." "Booker" McPeak; and her siblings, Nancy N. Worrell, Laura N. Worrell, Elva N. Webb, Sylvia N. Goad Banks, Vera N. Dalton, Archie R., Carlos S., Cody W., Roy H. and J. Hasten Nester.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joseph William McPeak and Lori Jean McPeak Huss; her great grandchildren, Baylee McPeak and Charles Thigpen; and her sister-in-law Imogene Goad Nester. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
