He is survived by: his wife Patsy Kern; his sons, David (Alicia) and Dwayne Kern (Ginger); his grandchildren, Chloe, Jon, Dawson and Alidia Kern; and his siblings, Ronnie, Danny Kern (Glenda), Mabel Chandler, Barbara Smith and Juanita Hood (T. J.). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
