He was predeceased by: his mother Rettie Philips of Virginia; his nephew Logan Lane; and his niece Jamie Cook. He is survived by: his wife Elisa Lane; his stepdaughter Kimberly "Sally" Barnette (Steven) of Duffield, VA; his siblings, Judy Sergent of Eolia, KY, Phyllis Bishop of Jasper, VA, David Lane of Kingsport, TN, Donald Lane (Nancy) of Duffield, VA, Dennis Lane (Sarah) of Clinchport, VA and Alan Lane (Katherin) of Knoxville, TN; his stepgrandchildren, Scottlin, Steven and Brittany Baker; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Avery and Easton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
