It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosenda Mendenhall of Duffield, Virginia, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Bledsoe and Ella Collier Bledsoe; her husband Loyd Clayborn Mendenhall; and her siblings, Lettie Carter, Dorothy Pearcy, Thelma Owens, Regina Tilly, Jerry Bledsoe and Elmer Bledsoe.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Ware (Greg) of Kingsport, TN and Randy Mendenhall (Melissa) of Nickelsville, VA; her granddaughter Madison Ware Burk (Trey) of Kingsport, TN; her siblings, Marie Lawson of Gate City, VA, Shirley Bledsoe of Blackwater, VA, Elsie Childress (Mike) of Blackwater, VA and Claude Bledsoe, Jr. (Patty) of Duffield, VA; and her friends, Floyd and Connie Prevatt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; a host of friends.
