He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hensley and Hazel Hensley (McDavid); his son Mark Hensley; and his brother Jeff Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hensley; his son Mike Hensley (Christa); his stepchildren, Katie Hollifield and Jacob Williams (Georgia); his grandchildren, Brady Hensley and Cory Hensley; his stepgrandchildren, Stevie Williams and Lyric Caudill; and his brother Roger Hensley (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
