He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bishop and Edith Bishop (Kindle); his brother Bruce (Nora Lee Bishop); his nephew Greg Lawson; and his brother Dwight Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Bishop (Johnson); his son Shannon Bishop (Kathy); his grandchildren, Dwayne Bishop (Tori), Brittany Lawson (Patrick), Mikaela Hooper and Ryan; his sister Maybelle Lawson; his half-sister Rita Jo Wilder; and his sister-in-law Larue Sloan.
