She was predeceased by: her parents, Hasten Gilliam and Victoria Gilliam (Neal); her husband Doyle Vaughn; her children, Shirley Nufio, Glenda Reams, Marlin Vaughn and Roger A. Vaughn; and her siblings, Alpha Dingus, Alberta Vaughn, Dorothy Ann Williamson, Margaret Williamson, Paul Gilliam and Ely Gilliam.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Coral McComas of Duffield, VA, Carolyn Singleton (Charles) of Duffield, VA, Patricia Egan (Dexter) and Big; her brother Echol Gilliam of Duffield, VA; and her sister-in-law Judy Gilliam of Gate City, VA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
