She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Horton Carter and Etta Carter (Spivey); her husband Thurman Pease; her brother Sam Stuart Carter; her son Michael Keith Pease of Fairview, VA; her siblings, Phyllis Carter Dunn of Birdsnest, VA and Arles Pease; her sister-in-law Louise Pease of Kingsport, TN; and her close friends, Sue Vaughn and Joyce C. Starnes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions can be made to Three Bells United Methodist Church, 308 Fugate Street, Duffield, VA 24244 in the name of Mrs. Joan Pease.
