It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Eugene Bishop of Duffield, Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hansford Bishop and Martha Locena Bishop (McNew); his son Jeffery Eugene Bishop; and his siblings, Virginia Kern, Mary Jane Justice and Roscoe Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Ramey Bishop; his children, Kathy Sharpe (Steve), Karen Bohnert (Stan), Sharon Stacey (Toney), Lisa Johnson (Richard) and Randall Bishop (Angie); his grandchildren, Jonathan Bowen (Megan), Kassondra Lawson (Jon), Ethan Bowen, Brianna Young (Ross), Logan Bohnert (Tiffany), Camilia McNew, Nathan Stacey, Laken Tomlinson (Chris), Marcus McDavid, Ryan McDavid and Charlie Bishop; and his close friend Geree Hilliard. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other friends.
