He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Everett Pruitt and Willie Shoemaker Pruitt; his children, Russell Preston Pruitt and Betty Catherine Pruitt; and his brothers, Clarence Pruitt and John Pruitt.

He is survived by: his sons, Harold James Pruitt and Shannon Russell Pruitt; his brother Paul Rader Pruitt (Kaye) of Carrollton, VA; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alex, Logan and Tyler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to recent COVID - 19 guidelines, services are limited to a maximum of 25 persons at a time and as always, face masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
