He was predeceased by: his father William Joe Berry; and his grandparents, Floyd, Martha Berry, Will and Grace Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Pauline Berry; his children, Elizabeth, Brandon Berry and Marilynn Benezette of Duffield, VA; his stepfather Rev. James; his brother Rev. Lonnie; and his uncles, Ed, Detta Sue Berry and Rev. William Berry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gate City Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
