He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornett Adams and JoAnn Adams; and his siblings, Gibb Adams, Otto Adams, Omar Barnett, Gladys Pridemore, Bonnie Childress and Ida Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Adams; his daughters, Freda Robinette (Clarence), Mary Lou Carter (Michael) and Vada Beverly (Jeff); his grandchildren, Crystal Dishner (Ronald), Chris Robinette and Ross Beverly; his great grandchildren, Jacob Dishner (Abby) and Anna Dishner; his stepmother Celia Bledsoe; his siblings, Kennie Adams (Lisa), Dennie Adams, Matt Adams and Lora Hartsock (Randy); and his siblings-in-law, Helen Robinette and Sherman Osbourne (Marcella). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robinette Funeral Home (696 Dr Andrew Jackson Osborne Hwy, Blackwater, VA 24221). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the McKinney-Carter Cemetery (1481 Fraley Ave, Duffield, VA 24244).
