She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill and Delma Yates; and her husband Billy Rose. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Rose (Marica) and Bobby Rose (Anna Lou); her siblings, Cain Yates, Rena Fuller, Virtie Fuller, Rose Mullins, Itley Mullins and Armindy McCowan; her grandchildren, April Rose (Jay), Brandon Rose, Brian Nixon (Christy) and Heather Long (David); and her great grandchildren, Conor, Sicily, Beau and Brody. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Greenwood Acres Cemetery (436 Centre Ave NE, Coeburn, VA 24230).
