She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ernest Shiflett and Martha Kate Shiflett. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Powers of Nashville, TN, Susan Powers of Chilhowie, VA and Tracy Hadry (Chris) of Havre; her sister Elizabeth A. Johnson of Covington, VA.; her nephew Michael Johnson; her daughter Madison of Roanoke, VA; her nephew Kevin Johnson (Heather) of Grottoes, VA; her niece Janet Johnson Dressler; her children, Megan, Alanna and Logan of Clifton Forge, VA; her brother-in-law James Randolph Powers (Randy); her niece Tracey Watson; her children, Jesse, Gabrielle and Matthew; and also, Wife Carrie and Jim Duncan.
She is predeceased by her parents James Ernest Shiflett and Martha Kate Shiflett, The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of Carole to the American Cave Conservation Association, P.O. Box 409, 119 E. Main St. Horse Cave, KY 42749.
