Barbara Lou (Hilton) Dean Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2024, at the age of 75, Barbara Lou (Hilton) Dean of Duffield, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert O. Hilton and Linda Hilton; and her siblings, Mary Stanley and Robert K. Hilton. She is survived by: her husband James M. Dean; her son Dustin Dean; her grandson Liam Maverick Dean; her siblings, Lavada Clasby (Lester Kilgore), Wanda Hubbard (Denny), Patty Davis (Jerry), Jessie Hilton (Janet), Charlie P. Hilton (Carolyn) and Terry Hilton (Latasha Robinson); and her close friends, Jane Bishop, Susie Diaz and Myrtle Dean. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and her animals.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 8:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hall Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home for help with funeral cost.
