Kern, Jr. (Kathy) and Marvin "Toddy" Kern (Fleda); his grandchildren, Angie Rhoton (Tim), Matt Townsend (Heather), Casey Wells (Virgil), Jodie Bowen (Scott), Joshua Tomlinson (Crystal), Hannah Rhoton and Seth Rhoton; his great grandchildren, Abigail Wells, Nathaniel Wells, Levi Townsend, Lily Townsend, Zachary Tomlinson and Taylor Tomlinson; and his brother Joe Kern. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
