He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb Thompson and Alma Thompson; his sister Sue Thompson Hubble; and his brother-in-law Alvin Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Curtis Thompson (Sheri), Diane Marion and Jennifer Shartzer (Scott); his grandchildren, Ben, Adam Thompson, Mallory, Grayson, Keely, Delaney Finn and Maggie Shartzer; his sister Edith Wayne; his siblings-in-law, Charles Akers (Patsy), Bill Hubble, Don Akers (Janice) and Joyce Page (Jerry); and his friend Aubrey Powers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
