He was predeceased by: his parents, Deward Montgomery and Phyllis Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Montgomery; his daughter Christy Nichole; his son-in-law J. D. Caudill of Hillsville; his son Seth David; his daughter-in-law Sarah Montgomery of Dublin; his grandchildren, Jacob Whitaker, Aislinn Grace Montgomery and Skyler Jackson Montgomery; and his siblings, Gary Montgomery of Hillsville, Rebecca (John Carlson) and Susan (Mitch Dalton). He is also survived by many other relative and friends.
