She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulis Turpin and Ida Turpin; her husband Elmer Fred Montgomery; and her son Dennis Montgomery. She is survived by: her children, Janet M. Deeds of Radford, Elizabeth M. Goad of Chester and Bobby Montgomery of Dublin; her daughter-in-law Zerita Montgomery of Dublin; and her sister Louise Quesenberry of Leesburg. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
