He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Johnston; his daughters, Jennifer Johnston, Cheryl Morales (Michael) and Rhonda Nottingham (Antonio); his grandchildren, Amanda Covey, Cara Ann Covey, Christopher Covey (Breanna), Jacob Andrew Covey, Marcus Lee Johnston and Bryant Andrew Nottingham; his great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Sara Beth, Jade Arianna, Neveah Brooke and Macie Grace; his sister Helen Compton (Tommy); and his nephews, David, Jeff and Neil Compton. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
