It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes Waters Dillow of Dublin, Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Waters and Irma Waters; her husband Joseph Dillow; her daughter Robin D. Webb; her grandsons, Derek Whitesell and Jackson Dillow; and her siblings, Mildred W. Peele, Joseph, Marion, Robbie, Dallas and Fenner Waters.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Dillow of Roanoke, Ken Dillow of Newbern, Danny Dillow of Craigsville and Nancy; her son-in-law Nelson Hamilton of Dublin; and her sister-in-law Grace Waters of Plymouth. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
