With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary I. Cox of Dublin, Virginia, born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Lyons Hudson and Benjamin Franklin Hudson. She is survived by: her son William "Frank" Franklin Cox (Michelle) of Dublin; her siblings, Benny Wayne Hudson (Karen) of Dublin, Sandy Ratcliffe (Johnny) of Dublin, Erma Sheppard (Ray) of Dublin and Joyce Hudson Quesenberry of Newbern; her grandchildren, Lillian Cox of Roanoke and Benjamin James Cox of Fargo; and her cousins, Richard Lyons and Carolyn Lyons. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Newbern United Methodist Church P.O. Box 427 Newbern, Virginia 24126.
