She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowman Gardner and Jessie Blankenship Gardner. She is survived by: her son Charles Wayne Tolbert; her brother Alfred Gardner; her husband Jesse Lee Murphy; and her daughters, Rose Brownell (Paul), April Guynn and Iris Brown. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren 1 Step-Daughter 1 Step-Grandson 2 Special Nieces.
