He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Jonas and Thelma Jonas; his siblings, David Jonas and Norma Jean; and his brother-in-law Harry Lee Gates.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Jonas; his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Janet Jonas; his daughters, Pamela Howard, Nancy (Ronald Lawson), Sandra (Bob Stough), Karen (Brad Martens) and Laverne (Keith Rotenizer); his sister-in-law Sharr Lee Jonas; and his grandchildren, Stacey Utt (Chris), Jamie Riggins Paul Riggins (Tracy), Crystal Conner (Chris), Jesica Jonas, David (Katie Martens), Jonah Stough, Brandy Elwart (Derrick), Shelby Gilbo (Robert) and Katharine (Philip Tozier). He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several other extended family members and friends.
