He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Fleenor James. He is survived by: his wife Annie Laurie James of Dublin; his daughter Laura James Carter; his son-in-law Joe of Raleigh, N. C.; his son Dr. Jay James; his daughter-in-law Laura of Roanoke; his sister Donna; his brother-in-law Bill Copenhaver of Salem; and his grandchildren, Reed James Carter, Joanna Carter, Ella, Jake and Annaleigh James. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Dublin UM Church.
