He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. C. H. Goodman and Anna Lee Marshall Goodman of Dublin, Virginia.; his wife Edna B. Goodman; his daughter Debra Kolbet; his siblings, Ellis M. Goodman (Doris Davis Goodman), Nancy Goodman and Helen Goodman Keen (Gene Keen); and his brother-in-law James Prescott.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Goodman Roberts (Gary) of Roanoke Virginia; his stepdaughter Tina Jack (Ken) of Jasper, Tennessee.; his grandson Evan Goodman (Amanda) of Chester, Virginia.; and his siblings, Sammy Goodman (Lana) of Dublin and Lois Goodman Prescott of Dublin.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bower Funeral Home - Chapel (1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, VA 24301). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
