She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrd Phillips and Maudy Phillips; her husband Carl William Lawson; and her sons, Carl David Lawson and Larry Gene Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Rodger Lawson (Sandy), Ronald Lawson, John Lawson (Lisa), Patricia Fox (George) and Linda Lovern (Terry); her grandchildren, Rodger, Lynn, Samantha, Larry, Tina, Jeremy, Darla, Ronnie, Michelle, Courtney, Misty, Shannon and Morgan; and her pet Santana. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.
