He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Anderson Brillheart and Glenn Andrew Brillheart, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Burchett Brillheart of Dublin; his children, Pamela B. McGowan (Robert) of Christiansburg, Susan B. Buckley (Patrick) of Ridgefield, CT and Glenn Andrew "Andy" Brillheart, III of Draper; his siblings, Richard "Dick" Brillheart (Vickie) of Fairlawn, Peggy B. Burchett of Radford and Nancy B. B. Goble (Wiley) of Dublin; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Burchett (Janet) of Pulaski, Joel Burchett of Pulaski, P. Asa Burchett (Nancy) of Pulaski and Jetta B. Arnold (Marvin) of Max Meadows. He is also survived by six grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
