He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Roscoe Mitchell and Izola Boothe Kingrea; and his brother Roger Mitchell. He is survived by: his brother Jack "Carson"; his sister-in-law Diane Mitchell; his sister Dinah Morris; his stepfather Bobby Kingrea; his siblings-in-law, Johnny Morris and Bonnie Mitchell; and his friend Richard "Pickle" Harless. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
