She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie R. Bates and Bessie Cox Bates; her daughter Billie Jean Bond; her granddaughter Sierra Cook; her brother Jimmy Bates; and her pet Pimpy.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Williston; and her children, Lynn Pickett (Eddie), Lee Barrett, Joe Barrett, Bridget Bond Martinez (Ivan) and Chris Bond. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended friends and family.
