He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clinton Thomas and Lillie Gray Jones Thomas; and his brothers, George Clinton "Bud" Thomas, Jr. and Bobby Lee Thomas. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn McCanna (Bob), Cindi Thomas and Angela Jones (Barry Jones); his grandchildren, Bryan McCanna (Brandi), Robby McCanna (Leanne), Preston Jones, Franconia Jones, Amelia Davis and Olivia Davis; his great grandchildren, Gabbie McCanna, Lexi McCanna, Camden McCanna, Miller McCanna, John McCanna, Emberlynn Kate McCanna and Simeon McCanna; his siblings, Jenny Dillon and Ed Thomas (Karen); his nephew Nick Thomas (Marilyn); and his caregiver Brenda Thomas. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
