She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Benavides and Laudelina Benavides; her husband Giordano R. Casas; her daughter Maria Elena Casas Rainey; and her sister Berta of Rojas.
She is survived by: her children, Layda Casas Hamblin of Dublin, Esther Casas Johnson (B. J.) of Greensboro, N. C., Giordano J. Casas (Susan) of Naperville, Ill and Carlota Casas Urban (Kevin) of Fairfax Station; her son-in-law John R. Rainey of Batesville; and her sister Olga B. Oliva of Tampa, Fla.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
