She was predeceased by: her parents, Taulby B. Childress and Nellie Jane Childress; her husband Edward H. Stowers, Jr.; and her siblings, D. J., Wayne, Bud Childress, Ola Barrow and Marian Sarver.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth; her son-in-law Howard Looney; her son Donald E.; her daughter-in-law Deena Stowers; her granddaughter Janella Looney; her brother Bob Childress; and her sister-in-law Ruth Childress. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
