He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Rosalie Parrott Surface and Bryce Preston Surface. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Kay Knutson Surface of Dublin; his daughter Sherry Lynn Coleman (Bobby) of Little Creek; his sister Judy Bowling of Dublin; and his grandchildren, Haylee Ramsey (Shawn) and Logan Coleman (Katie). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Seagle Funeral Home (415 Jefferson Ave N, Pulaski, VA 24301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form on donations to the Dublin Animal Shelter.
