He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Jackson Harvey and Helen Marie Russell Harvey; and his siblings, Ada Cox and Doff Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue Harvey; his children, Brenda Smith (Jeff), Blacksburg, L. J. Harvey (Theresa), Fredericksburg, Michael Harvey and Pulaski; his grandchildren, Katie Wall, Noah Harvey, Luke Harvey and Elizabeth Harvey; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Wall, Nevaeh Wall and Rayland Harvey; his sisters, Jackie Lee Matherly, Doris F. Dickerson and Dublin; and his niece Shelby Pauley (Bobby).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Memory Gardens (5555 Lee Hwy, Dublin, VA 24084).
