He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jessop and Effie Anna Gardner Skewes. He is survived by: his wife Sherry S. Skewes of Dublin; his children, David Skewes of Dublin, Dr. Matt Skewes (Tara) of Radford, John F. Smith (Tammi) of Suffolk and Erin Lattanze (Greg) of Front Royal; his nephew William Gardner "Rusty" Skewes of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Jessop, Sable, Jacob, Drew, Nick, Tom, Teaghan, Miranda, Audrey, Sophia, Max and Josie; his great grandchild Danny; his caregivers, Tommy and Lisa Akers; and his pets, Savannah, Sue and Hank. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
