With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel McKinley Shepherd of Dublin, Virginia, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Shepherd; his wife Virginia Barnett Shepherd; and his granddaughter Alexius Ann. He is survived by: his daughters, Truley Akers (Robbie) and Danelle Slaughter; his grandsons, TJ Hawkins, Davin Akers, Nicholas Conner, Zakkary, Lukkas Slaughter and Stanley Warden; his mother Brenda Rakes Shepherd; and his siblings, Debbie Pifer (Tim), Cindy Blankenship (Mike) and Chris Shepherd (Mitsy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
