He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Lee Dailey Smith and Robert Henderson Smith. He is survived by: his cousins, JoAnn Lowman Childress of Roanoke, Bill Wallace of Brevard, NC, Jim Wallace, Sherry and Ashley Borders of Richmond; his close friend Sheri Barnett of Pulaski County; and also Joe Childress of Roanoke.
